Bandera Dental Office has been serving the dental needs of northwest San Antonio since 1984. We offer a refreshing, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for our patients in our professional, state-of-the-art environment. We take time to listen to your needs and help you understand your treatment choice.

General Dentistry- We provide all phases of dentistry including cosmetics dentistry, fillings, root canals, crown and bridge, removable partial and complete dentures, gum treatment, extractions and braces.

Children’s Dentistry- Dentistry for infants and children provide by Board Certified Pediatric Dentist.

AFTER HOURS- After hours our calls are forwarded to our cell phone, making ourselves available 24/7. For after hour emergencies we accept insurance assignments only from patients of record

EMERGENCY SERVICE –We are available 24/7 for dental emergencies.

Dr. Alex clearly had a great mentor in his father. It's really cool in this day to see a family business growing. They had excellent quality service and really took the time to explain everything about my treatment in a way I understood. Staff was very friendly from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Dr. Alex was very gentle as I don't like dental visits( like most of us). I'd give a 6th star if I could! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!! I'll be sending all of my friends and family there from now on. THANKS!!!!

The Ionescu family has been taking care of my family's dental needs for over 20 years. Dr. Ionescu is attentive and professional, and he has a great sense of humor. The office staff is friendly and professional. The whole experience is pleasant and everything is high quality with this family dental practice.

Everything about this dental practice is wonderful. The front office staff and the dental hygienists are always professional and accommodating. Dr. Florin Ionescu was my dentist growing up and recently his son, Dr. Alex Ionescu has taken over as my dentist. The Ionescu family has a strong work ethic and it is evident that they take pride in their work. Dr. Alex Ionescu has a great sense of humor and is very gentle while working on your teeth. I actually enjoy going to the dentist! This office is fantastic and I highly recommend making them your permanent dentist!

I took my 16 year old daughter to Bandera Dental. She is absolutely terrified of dentists, but she did great there! They were so soft-spoken, made sure she was comfortable, made sure she could not feel any pain, and answered all of her and my questions. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a dentist who cares more about the patient, and less about just getting the work done and moving on to the next person in line. Dr. Alex and his staff are great!
