Last night we had to put down our dog of 9 years. It was all very sudden and was one of the hardest things my young family has ever gone through. Dr. Lehtinen, Chelsea, and Casey were nothing short of amazing! It was a very hard day for us all and they ladies were great. They were informative but still sympathetic of our situation. They were kind and caring through it all. Most of all they made my dear Dusty's last day great. She was surrounded by caring staff that clearly loves what they do and it shows in their compassion and treatment of the family members we entrust to them. I cant say enough good things about the staff that helped us through a very difficult time. Thank you all so much!

I don't know what all these negative people are talking about. I called Banfield at 7 am this morning and told them I had an emergency with my dog, they told me that they were booked solid, How ever if I could drop her off, they would be able to take care of her, So I did. I was frantic, Its Christmas week and it's busy every where, The Banfield team took great care of my dog and sent us home with the Antibiotics she needs to get better. The antibiotics alone were $160.00, with the wellness plan We only paid $68.00 out of pocket, And with the plan there is NO OFFICE VISIT FEE!!! With out the plan my Bill would have been almost $300.00 today. The staff was so kind in our time of need on such a busy and stressful week. I am thankful they were able to see my dog on such short notice. We have had the wellness plan for over 20 years. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I don't have to fork out $200.00 Or more every time she goes in. We are on the old timer plan and it covers alot of ground especially when your pet is up there in age and starts having health problems. When my Husky mix passed away some year's ago, they sent me a beautiful card signed by the whole team. They really do care and I would never go anywhere else. Thank You Banfield.

Dr. Lehtenin is the best. She has been wonderful with all the cats that I've brought in.

Great friendly staff who were very sweet & fun with my energetic lab. Pretty busy and had just got new software when I visited that looked great but they were learning the new kinks. Free first visit coupon made it worth trying a new vet after mine retired and am so far not disappointed. Will be coming back in the spring for vaccines 😊

My 3 year old cat ended up having a skin infection about a couple weeks ago, she was given antibiotics for it. They also did some lab work to see if we could figure out where it was coming from (which takes 7-10 days to get back). In the mean time we got home, she was acting really funny. She seemed very weak, I had to bring her food and bring her to the litterbox, otherwise she wouldnt do it herself. She also was limping. I knew something wasn't right. I called Banfield a few times during the week saying I was concerned about her behavior that she wasn't acting like herself. They kept telling me "lets just wait" for the results. So a couple days later I decided to take her in. They said she had swelling in her elbow and a fever, so they just gave her pain meds for a few days. They had talked about doing blood work because she is an FIV positive cat, but never did it. So we went home, patiently waiting for the results from the lab work to get back. They call with the results a couple days later and said it wasn't a fungal thing that caused her infection. I went on to tell them her behavior was still not right. She didnt have much to say and said well i can fit her in on Sunday (it was Thursday night). I was concerned but went along with it. Friday morning came along and I set my cat by her litter box, she fell over and wouldn't get up. I called Banfield very concerned, they said they had no room. So I rushed her to missions pet hospital in Eden Prairie (which by the way is a great place). They immediately took my cat back and did blood work. Turns out she was extremely anemic and wasn't getting enough oxygen as well. They went on to do blood work right away and she had some kind of infection in her blood. She had a count of 0 for platelets in her blood and her hemoglobin levels were extremely low. At this point it was too late, her body couldn't fight it off. She was suffering and too weak. So we had to put her down Friday afternoon. She was everything to me and I just felt really let down and was disappointed that Banfield didnt seem to take her behavior change very seriously. They just kept wanting to wait. If her blood had been tested sooner she could have pulled through. We had a really good experience at Missions Pet Hospital and will go there with future pets.
