The staff at this location are fantastic! I take my dog and cat here, and have not had a bad experience. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, the techs are wonderful with the animals, and the doctors (Hope and Davidson) make a point to come out and talk to me about my pet's progress and concerns after even drop-off appointment. Dr. Hope has even called me more than once in a day to update me on my pet's appointments. I love this clinic and will continue to bring my pets here for great care! Scheduling is also a breeze, and I have never had an issue with charges or billing (I have the optimum wellness plan for both pets)

I'd give 0 stars if I could. I had an appointment for 11:30AM and I wasn't helped until after 12:45PM. I was worried my kitten had a UTI. All I wanted was for them to check her urine. After trying to get me to pay for a million other things that had nothing to do with the issue, they told me to leave her with them until she peed or by closing time. When I picked her up that evening, she had not used the bathroom so they gave me 1/4 cup worth of reusable liter for me to gather it myself (not even enough litter to slightly cover half of a KITTEN litter box). Best part? They handed me back my $75 pet bag with a cut off handle because apparently my kitten got tangled in it and that was the only way to get her out. By the time I drove back and forth and collected the urine MYSELF to find she did NOT have a UTI, they charged me around $80. They did not replace my bag that they ruined and instead gave me a discount off the fee of me collecting her urine. WORST experience with a vet.

Short backstory: I have a female cat who is not spayed. I tried to get her fixed about 10 years ago, but she went into cardiac arrest on the operating table, and they had to give her CPR to bring her back to life. They found out she has something wrong with her heart, and couldn't tell me if it was an allergic reaction to the medication or not. They said I could try getting her fixed again in the future, but I would be risking her life. 10 howling years later, I'm looking for a solution to avoid her heat cycles without fixing her. Hormone therapy is a possible solution. There are injections, oral medication, and implants. So I call Banfield: I ask the woman who answers the phone if they provide hormone therapy for cats. She puts me on hold to ask the doctor. She comes back and asks if I'm on their wellness plan. I say no. She puts me on hold again. Comes back and says the doctor doesn't know what I'm talking about, and I'll have to make an appointment. I explain hormone therapy to her (injections, oral, or implant) and ask again if she can ask the doctor if any of these services are offered. She puts me on hold. Comes back and says she can't tell me over the phone, it's a "complex" topic, and I need to make an appointment to see the doctor. I told her I would be reluctant to pay for a doctors visit just for the doctor to tell me if they offer hormone therapy or not. She says I can go to a pet store and get some type of coupon, and I would be able to set up a "free consultation." Since they are unwilling to tell me over the phone if they offer these services, I ask them if they can just ask the doctor if they have two of the drugs involved with hormone therapy. One of them is "ovaban." She puts me on hold again. She comes back and says "the doctor says that's just something you got off Google, and you'll have to make an appointment." I sigh. Ok, set me up an appointment. She starts taking down all my information. I ask "I'm not going to have to bring my cat in to this appointment in order for the doctor to tell me if you offer hormone therapy or not right??" She says yes, I'm required to have my animal present in order for the doctor to consult with me. At this point I'm starting to get a little upset, but I'm trying to hold in my incredulity. It can take an hour for me to get my cat in a cat carrier. It's not an easy task, and I really don't want to have to go to a pet store for a coupon, then get my cat in a carrier to bring to the vet so the vet can tell me "yes we can provide hormone therapy" or "no we can't provide hormone therapy." I asked her if I could make an appointment for a consultation but not bring my cat, because the cat isn't required to be there for the vet to be able to answer this simple question. I can tell the vet that the cat is not fixed. The cat doesn't need to be there for the vet to know that. She puts me on hold. Gets back and says it's Florida law that I can't consult without my animal present. I said "really, that sounds ridiculous,". I asked her which doctor she was speaking to that was refusing to see me. She went silent. I asked her again for the name of the doctor, and she refused to give me a name, and kept repeating that the doctor isn't refusing to see me, and that I need to make an appointment. At this point, being fed up with the whole situation, I just said "ok, can I leave a message for the doctor?" No, I can't, I would need to make an appointment. But she said she would leave my number with her manager (not a doctor), and that she would call me back. She kindly added right at the end "but she's going to tell you exactly what I told you." Classy. I can't say I'm really looking forward to this phone call now, because I might not be able to keep my composure. I'd rather speak to Novey or another animal hospital at this point, because I can't imagine it could be worse than what I just experienced.

Sometimes this Banfield can be very unorganized and frustrating. The staff, I swear, changes every other week, which doesn't help. But sometimes they hit the nail on the head. Like currently, Dr Davidson is on at this Banfield and I couldn't be happier.
