I think this place is due for an EXCELLENT review.  When I first thought of transferring to this Banfield, I was turned off by the reviews, but wanted to see for myself. I am glad I did. They have been nothing be exceptional here! They know my doggos already and treat them as if they were their own pets.  They are always friendly and timely with me as well.  My pups went in 3 weeks ago for their yearly check up (a bit late, but that is on me, not Banfield).  I dropped them off and they were immediately seen. The whole thing took less than an hour, shots and all.  I had to go back the next week to do one more shot for one of my pups, and I was in and out in minutes.  Then today I dropped them both off for teeth cleaning.  The hospital has been in touch with me all day, giving me updates and letting me know how everything went.  Honestly, I am thrilled that this Banfield is the one closest to my home.

The pet insurance plan is a good idea on the surface but as soon as you use one of the covered services they will call you explain that something else is needed costing you money out of pocket. Does anyone there take any of the animals out to go to the bathroom? My dog came out of there smelling like piss and had to empty a very full bladder as soon as we left.

We've taken our pets to Banfield for years, but this last checkup was the last straw. A vet at this location gave us a trial for a Rimadyl which can be very harmful to certain breeds. My dog is one of these breeds and no warning was given to us. I thought it was strange that they wanted to do blood work on him to give him the full prescription and after doing some research, I discovered how harmful this drug can be, even causing instant death. My husband and I even spoke to another vet outside of Banfield to confirm this. At the very least, I feel like we should have been informed of the side effects for the drug because I never would have given it to him. I no longer have any trust in Banfield or it's staff and we have decided to cancel our plans.
