I went to the branch to cash two checks. A payroll check and a referral check. The teller barely spoke English and was clearly new. In the best broken English she had, she told me that the payroll check would be placed on a 5 business day hold! But that she could give me $200 cash from it. She went on to deposit that check. I was under the impression that she was also cashing the 2nd check and I would get a total of $500 in cash. When I got into my car, which was now the close of their Saturday business day, I only had the $200 cash from the first check, which had the remainder on hold, but NO record of the 2nd check for $300. Not as a hold in my account and not cashed! I called the bank branch today, and they said they would check with the teller but I told them I didn't trust the teller. I asked if they had cameras because if she 'supposedly' cashed the $300 check SHE NEVER GAVE IT TO ME! This is unacceptable and a FEDERAL CRIME! This is disgusting behavior, especially for a bank. Every penny of that deposit was desperately needed  and if I can't trust a Federally Regulated (whatever that means) banking institution then what a waste of freaking time! I will be pulling my money from this bank at my next opportunity!

This is THE worst BOA in the Houston area. The lobby has completely changed, and you must stand in a very narrow hall to use teller services. Not only is it inconvenient, but not very safe. The line moves incredibly slow. This used to be a nice bank, but whoever designed the remodel, is incompetent.

Slowest BOA I've ever been to. They completely remodeled so now you're cramped in a narrow maze while you wait. They should've just tore it down instead of wasting the money to remodel.

The absolute worst branch for Bank of America, with a terrible financial rep named Joe. Not only that, but there's only ONE rep working right now behind the counter, and she's super rude and always falls asleep while working. Samira is the only good rep at the branch. They charge you for EVERYTHING and they're never consistent with who they charge for what.
