9-1-15 I am moving my business accounts due to the lack Banners control over their international wire contract with Western Union. Been a customer with Siuslaw since 1997. Was very concerned when Banner took over that the personal nature of the bank would be lost. Small items like a person that actually answers the phone, the ability to reach someone on the phone before the branch opens and local branch involvement in the community are important to me. I am pleased to say that after several months I still consider Banner a good perosnal bank. I have 35 years in business and 50 years of personal banking. I have used dozens of banks and credit unions. Banner is not Siuslaw but is Okay for personal stuff, but my business accounts are being moved to Citizen.
