I was surprised at how good this restaurant was! As we were only passing through, I wasn't expecting much but turned out to be very good! Boyfriend got a burger and I got the chicken salad. The chicken was so tender and delicious! My boyfriend loved the burger as well. We also had a homemade apple pie and the special chocolate cake. It was all very good! If you are driving through, I highly suggest this restaurant!

Extremely slow! Waited around 45 minutes for a BLT with fries. The fries were pretty cool, not quite cold by the time our order arrived. We won't be eating lunch at the bar h Roadhouse again anytime soon. If your in a hurry or just want a hot meal in a timely manner - go somewhere else.

Breakfast here is the best. I highly recommend the hamsteak. 
For lunch,
The hamburger steak is SMALL. You would think a cowboy themed restaurant would set the bar but Nope...more beef on a McDonald's burger. 
Will I stop again..yes will I order the steak? NO!!!

We got there about 1:30 pm on a Sunday it was packed but we didn't have to wait. We both ordered a bacon cheese burger and fries. Did have to start thr fried pickle chips, those were very good. The meat is charbroiled but a little over cooked for my taste. They have a full menu an you can get breakfast anytime. We said we'd come for breakfast in the morning when we are headed to the lake.  It's clean an the staff seemed to clear off tables fast.  I'm only giving it 4 stars because our server wasn't any good.  We shared a coconut cream pie slice that was outstanding but we sat there a long time with cleaned plates and empty tea glasses.  The tea is awesome I drink half sweetened half unsweetened. Finally we stopped another server an asked her to get our check so we could leave.

Give 4 stars for well deserved food taste.
If you read the other reviews, you'll see there's no complaining about food tasting. Service, well...
You see we a have different experiences, but at this establishment the service needs attention. 
There are certain ways to offer professional service to restaurant costumers. You cannot have costumers sit to enjoy a meal and have them leave as soon as possible. So when, at the middle of their meal, you bring the check, you let them know to pay when they're ready. Its like telling them 'eat quick and leave'. People feel unwelcomed by this gesture. On the reviews I read someone enjoying a slice of pie which got me interested, but after feeling the way my server made me feel, I kind of felt not interested after all. So I finished my chicken fried steak, which was delicious, but did not enjoy a slice of pie :(
