Jonathan is a man! Best pizzas in Los Angeles! I live in San Francisco and every time I come to Los Angeles. I always stop by to enjoy Jonathan’s pizza. . You can tell he is master of his craft. Ingredients are all very fresh and he makes it all in house! Dough is very airy and light! If you are looking for best pizzas in LA look no further! Thumbs up!

We walked here from John Wayne Airport after flying into Orange County and waiting for our ride. We were warmly greeted by the amazing staff who made us feel comfortable and welcome. We had the Brussels sprouts, Caesar salad with Shrimp and the truffle garlic bread. The food was fantastic. Because we needed to kill a few more minutes befor our ride got here, we had limoncello cake fresh from the oven, a smokey old fashioned and limoncello martini. All were delicious !!! What a wonderful way to start our vacation. Thank you, Bar One.

We stumbled across this place looking for something new, and we're so glad we did! The special of seafood tortellini was delicious, and the bone marrow truffle mac was downright sinful. Also highly recommend getting a bread assortment, the green spread they serve it with is delicious. Our server was wonderful as well. We'll definitely be back here in the future! Was hoping to love this place but probably won’t return.  Food is ok to good but the price, portions and poor service puts it firmly in the pass category.  For comparison we just went to Ruth’s Chris this week so may not be fair, but felt I got value in quality food and service versus at Bar One I felt a little ripped off.  Didn’t even wait around for dessert, and my wife has dessert at pretty much every nice restaurant we go to.

We had such a great experience! The food was excellent and fresh. We had just gotten back from a trip to Italy and it tasted like we never left. We had the arancini, carbonara and pizza. You could tell that it was all made from scratch. Our server was very personable and informative. Can’t wait to go back and explore more of the menu!Recommended dishesCarbonara

I was traveling solo and came across this restaurant in Newport. The food is made from scratch, featuring family recipes provided by their head chef from Sicily. Each bite speaks for itself and is incredible. Their staff treats you as if you’re family! P.S. save room for dessert!

Awesome place to start a Cali experience. Very friendly staff, family operated and amazing selection of wine, whiskey and food.

Amazing Italian restaurant with a hole in the wall feel. The pizza is AMAZING with a wood-fired crust, so I'm sure all the other entrees would be as well. Highly recommend trying it.Food: 5/5
