Relaxed, cash only, loud, and slightly above average. Barely giving a 4/5.  Don’t come for fine high class dining with exceptional service and you won’t be too let down. The food is good, maybe a little better than good. It’s fun in the summer or spring to sit outside and people watch while eating overpriced Italian food.  Reason that I gave it a 4/5 and not a 3/5 is that I didn’t necessarily feel like it was a bad experience, it was just fairly neutral.

Expect to find more options on the daily list than the menu. Despite the popularity we didn’t like the food very much, ravioli was dry and lacked taste. Bruschetta and the parmesan aubergine were the only 2 dishes we enjoyed out of the 5 we ordered.Food: 3/5

Quick and delicious-just get pappardelle alla fiesolana. You will be happy you did. This place is cash only, so you’ll have to come with cash or catch their atm on the lower level. The pasta was a bit pricy and the lighting could stand to be a bit dimmer. Overall, happy I came.Food: 5/5

Wow! I was expecting good meal from friends recommendations but was really blown away by the quality. You can tell they use fresh Italian ingredients in every meal. I wasn't feeling pasta that night so ordered the seared tuna! We also got the veal and broccoli rabb! All were very very flavorful. Order all the desserts, especially the panna cotta! Don't sleep on Bar Pitti!

Delicious food, authentic Italian place where everyone speaks this beautiful language, friendly staff & quick service. They don’t except credit cards, make sure to bring cash and they do have an ATM machine.Food: 5/5

Wonderful dinner. As an Italian myself, I can say this is one of the best places in the city. It is not American “Italian” food, don’t come here if what you want is Alfredo sauce. Its a true, authentic Italian restaurant. I had a wonderful experience with the waiters, and it truly felt like I was back in Italy. High quality olive oil, amazing prosciutto, and good meatballs lead the way for stupendous pasta.
