Really good vegan spot, all gluten free. Indoor/outdoor seating, the service was great and they were super accommodating with our dog. Great cocktails, able to seat a large group. Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free - amazing for celiacs
So good! Everything is gluten free and vegan and dairy free, it was so nice to be worry-free about finding a dish that works with my restrictions. Even my non-gluten free, non-vegan husband said this place is one of his new favorites. We had a reservation, and service was really fast and helpful. We got the nachos to start, they were huge and honestly very filling, we would definitely go back for them. We were excited for the basil lemonade but it was quite tart. The quesadilla was good as well. The churros were so good! They literally melt in your mouth, which is unexpected for a churro but very yummy. Vegetarian options: Everything: tacos, nachos, quesadillas Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free
I loved this spot. The food is delicious, the portions are good & the staff is kind. I went for a late lunch/early dinner. The bartender was serving tables and making drinks so you could tell he was busy but still patient with the customers. This is a 100% gluten free restaurant with a lot of menu options. It was tough to decide what to get. I ordered the flautas as my main dish and churros for dessert. These are items that I cannot get often due to my gluten intolerance so I decided to go all out. Everything seemed like it was prepared to order and super fresh. I’ll definitely be back!
Excellent food and service in a great atmosphere. Great with allergies. 100% gluten-free and vegan menu. Get the empanadas!Food: 5/5
Bar Verde was exceptional with their twist on Mexican cuisine with everything being vegan and gluten free! With all the dishes we ordered, we couldn’t tell it was just all vegetables. Let’s start with the guacamole and it was simply fresh The drinks we ordered were massive and worth the NY prices. Spicy cauliflower enchiladas were phenomenal along with the Maitake Enmolada, which was purely just mushrooms that had the similar Umami flavor and good for my taste buds. Churros were a game changer knowing it was gluten free. The three stars rating is really a 3.8 stars because the space is small not spacious, service was good but our original waiter vanished after giving out entrees. Also we weren’t aware everything was already premade and couldn’t really substitute something out. Other than that we will come back if craving vegan Mexican food.
VEGAN FLAN WAS SO GOOD. I’m obsessed with the texture of this. Flavor was not overpowering, and it was actually refreshing on a hot day. Totally recommend this dessert
Great vegan Mexican food. I had been to their sister restaurant, Double Zero once before and it was just as delicious. The food was delicious and filling. The service was a touch rushed, but not terrible. The food almost came out too quickly between courses. I guess, that’s a good thing sometimes depending on the experience you’re hoping for. Dietary restrictions: Plant Based
We really enjoyed our meal here! I have to eat gluten and soy free and choose to eat dairy free and it was so nice to eat somewhere without asking about everything. Thankful for places like this! They gave us a generous amount of guacamole and refilled our chips when we had guac left. Churros are incredible! Dietary restrictions: Gluten and soy, avoids dairy
Food was great, some of the best mexican vegan options Ive had… and I live in LA… but Jose Luis, our server with his magical touch on the Sangrias really tied this meal together… You can get a good meal in many places but people like him is what make a difference. Come back 10/10
This was my first time trying this place and last. So upset, I found a staple/piece of metal in my elote. The metal scraped my cheek and gums… Thank goodness I was eating it and not my child. So disappointed because I was really enjoying the taste of the food, but this right here just really turned me off. Do better this could have choke me or my child or even worst.
