The City of Baraboo Fire Department is classified as a Combination Department consisting of a full time Fire Chief and a full time Fire Inspector/Paid-on-Call Firefighter with the remaining personnel being Paid-on-Call Firefighters. The City of Baraboo Fire Department proudly serves the citizens of the City of Baraboo, Village of West Baraboo, Towns of Baraboo, Fairfield, Greenfield and Sumpter (Portion in Baraboo School District). This area encompasses 107 square miles and approximately 17,127 people
We dedicate our efforts to provide for the safety and welfare of the communities we serve through the preservation of life, property and the environment. We strive to provide rapid reliable and professional emergency services to these communities as well as support, encouragement and training to the individuals of the organization
