Poor There use to be a Barberitos in Daniel Village that I really loved. I don't know if it was the same franchise as this place or not but perhaps the food there biased my visit to this place. I was kind of surprised to see the price for a single burrito at around $7. They did have a lot of selections to add to the burrito and I had been wanting to eat here for a while I chose a chicken burrito that had most of the extras on it and I chose the spinach wrap. I had my food to go. The first thing I noticed when I went to eat was my chips were cold - not a problem for me - but they were covered in a fine sheen of oil. I know they were fried but that didn't make them look or taste appealing. When I took a bight of my burrito, all I could taste was slightly burnt chicken. I cook for myself a great deal and have a very wide tolerance of what is edible. I do expect more when I pay for the food however. Even if I had cooked this myself, I would have tossed out the chicken. The next thing I noticed was no seasoning on the chicken. If you have never been to this place before, and apparently I have not, you chose a style of food: Salad, taco, burrito, nachos and then select the trimmings. So each protein goes on the different dishes and they it is not prepared any differently. And besides the burnt chicken, the food really had no taste. I do realize this was one visit and maybe the chicken is usually better. But I don't believe I will go back. Even if the chicken wasn't burnt, the food was without merit and expensive for what you got. This was the worse burrito I have ever eaten. For the price I could have have a "Speedy" from any of the area Tex Mex places or several of the meatless frozen burritos they sell at Kroger and both would have been so much better then this meal. On the plus side, an attempt at making a decent salsa was made. You had 3 types to chose from and the Verde was not bad. They were not the blended to a Ketchup consistency you would have gotten at a Tex Mex place and they did provide some flavor. In fact I froze them in hopes of salvaging something from the meal for future use. Your mileage may very and don't decide based on my opinion alone. If you do eat there I hope your food is much better. I am told that Moe's is similar to this place and I plan to try it in the future. I can only hope it will be better.

When this place first opened, it was hot garbage. It went through a few phases and has finally mellowed out. Josh saved it for me. He is super friendly. Understands that a healthy portion of meat goes into a meal. And always checks on us to make sure everything is good. The only complaint I have about this place is the amount of juices that goes into the quesadilla. (Again, Josh fixed this) Makes it a little difficult to eat by hand. Just ask for a little better drain of the juice and it's top notch. The chips are hit or miss depending on when you go in. (Have been better recently). They need to learn to throw them out when they sit for a while. Keep the chips fresh and it's a 5-star experience for me.

Easily one of my favorite places. The staff is incredibly friendly always and everything tastes very fresh. I've been to other burrito places around like Moe's and have never really been wowed, but Barberitos is exceptionally better in every aspect. While I've only been coming here for a short while and can't speak of how it's was several months back or longer, what I can say is that it's now part of my typical week and I can't even begin to fathom how people don't like this place or complain about that quality of food.

This place is the best Mexican restaurant in the world! I felt welcomed right when I walked through the front door. The food is amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly. We eat at this Restaurant two times a week. The building is new and very clean. If you want to eat some where where the price is low and the food is great, come to this Barberitos. Like I said, this place is the best Mexican restaurant in the world!

Fresh and fast food. They have it set up where you pick the style of food and the meat. Then, you choose your vegetables and sauces. The man making our meals was very nice, fun, and enthusiastic. They have a self serve salsa bar with lime, lemon, and a variety of sauces. I personally like the music selection (90-early 2000s). I had steak nachos, and my mom had a steak bowl. Both were delicious, and we enjoyed ourselves.
