It might look like just another food shack like in a tourist zone with limited options, but it was actually some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time! I'd go here over some of the more popular hill country destinations any day. Shared a 3 meat platter of brisket, pork ribs, and jalapeño sausage. All were very moist and delicious. Staff was friendly. Service was fast. If you're in Canyon Lake, definitely give it a try.

I am confused with the site location showing different spot than google maps. Also menu is quite different. We stop at the location at main highway and it is not much for dining-in. My wife wanted to leave, but I told her it must be the best food in the area, so wee took the seats outside, where we had to fight annoying flies. Food was good, but served on paper plates and no fries, no mash potatoes, no bake potatoes. Plan on take-out and buy some potatoes on your way.

Didn't get what I asked for. I asked for green beans and got pinto beans, asked for lean brisket and got marbled brisket. I've gotten better from them.

Food was amazing! Brisket is juicy, tender and nice smoke ring. Potato salad and the Pinto beans were so good! My husband got the ribs and the meat just falls off the bone. Love the sauce! Seating is inside or outside. The service is excellent!

Delicious home cooked BBQ and fixins around the area. Staff is super nice and friendly. Love the atmosphere and BBQ sauce! Best jalopeno​ sausage I have ever had. Brisket is so moist it nearly falls apart in your mouth.
