I consider my dog's vet to be more of a pediatrician than a vet.  Barkingham is a great place.  The doctor is knowledgeable and caring and the staff support is great.  Cheryl at the front desk is as helpful as she can be to get appointments scheduled, etc.

Dr. Pursley and staff are great with your pets. Dr. Pursley's education and experience are very helpful for pets with special needs. I have utilized his services for a senior cat with thyroid issues and a younger cat with diabetes. He listens to your observations and concerns and responds appropriately, explaining in detail how to care for your pet's needs.

I took my Great Dane to see Dr. Pursley after a growth on my dog's foot had become enlarged and infected.  Dr. Pursley quickly diagnosed the issue, explained my options and was able to perform the necessary surgery right there on the spot.  Dr. Pursley's actions most likely saved my dogs life that day. 

We have owned large dogs all our life and always been a bit skeptical around vets.  A lot of the chain places seem to over prescribe meds, testing and etc, leaving you wondering if you are being taken advantage of.  I can honestly say, our experience at Barkingham Palace was quite the opposite.  The right level of care at a very fair and affordable price.

I highly recommend Dr. Pursley for your pet care and will be using Barkingham Palace for all future care.

Great Doctor and Great Staff.     They treat our dogs as if they were their dogs.  We feel very comfortable boarding them.     They don't push you for unnecessary medical treatment and keep us current on all shots.     Very, Very happy with Barkingham Palace - we wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else.
