On my wanderings in hungry Fog and through asking locals... I Found Barley Republic tucked away off the mains. This is definetly that Sweet spot for late night food when everything else was closed. Full on Irish pub atmosphere inside. Laid back porch for that Florida Feel on the outside. Staff and the "Regulars" are super friendly and welcoming. Killer grub and good conversations and I Will be back for daytime Experiences. (For the local beside me... Kudos to your future "Capt Kirk" you are a wise man with a good heart)

Great place. Food is phenomenal. Simple menu, but to the point. Great selection on spirit's. Barley's also has this chill Den upstairs with music drinks and a great representation of what an Irish Pub should be. Get the chicken tenders, pork belly tacos and the steak. Can't go wrong. Oh don't forget the fried Oreo's.

This place has the best shepherds pie that I've ever had: the braised lamb leg is so juicy and tender under a creamy bed of mashed potato. I also love the pretzels with beer cheese dip: the pretzels were topped with dried garlic, fennel seeds, and poppy seeds, which creates a magic chemical reaction with the beer cheese dip in my mouth. Our waitress is courteous and helpful. Overall I had a great time in my first food stop in the old town.

Their lamb burger is amazing. They have good happy hour specials and a good selection of beers. The atmosphere is nice. I would highly recommend.

They have the "Best Burgers" and the fried Oreo Cookie dessert is to die for. Everything is cooked fresh to order and may take a few extra minuets, but so worth the wait. Thier beer selection is by far one of the best with beers from around the world as well as domestic and local brews. They also serve food late night till 12am on weekends when usually most places are closed for food. I have to say the owner and staff have it together as I've been going for years and the service is still continually Superb. A++++
