New owners and a very robust selection of wine and beer. So welcome on this end of the island! Really pleasant proprietors who are knowledgeable and helpful. No need to drive to HC or SC anymore.

Down for the week, I wanted to grab a bottle of wine and a six-pack. They had a solid selection of beer, including some from Cape May Brewing, if I remember correctly. I ended up with a Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin. All the beer was chilled, if that makes a difference. The wine selection had about 3 or 4 dozen selections, with most of the major types covered. I didn't look too hard at the liquors, but they were good brands, even if there weren't many different brands. All prices were surprisingly reasonable for an island, although it's still cheaper to buy from the mainland. Seemed family-run, but I could be wrong. Staff wasn't overly eager to help me out, but they weren't cold either. While I didn't write anything down, they did have a suggestion book right by the register.

The "Barnegat Light Liquor Store" is no longer, There are New Owners, a New atmosphere, and a new name "The Keeper's Liquor Store". We have a great selection of craft Beer, Wine, Liquor, Mixers and snacks. Please come in and give us a try. There is a "Wish List" by the door which we review daily and look forward to ordering anything that makes your visit to the "Keeper's" worth the trip. Cheers

I visited this establishment earlier this week, and it's a stretch to call this an actual liquor store. The selection is not that great and the people working in it are scumbags. We are staying in Barnegat Light for two weeks and I called this morning (at 10:15AM) simply to ask what time they open so I could make the run for the week. The response? "Oh God", as if I shouldn't be calling. I will gladly drive the 3 miles out of my way now to go to another liquor store, as this establishment simply isn't worth the time. The poor selection - we can deal with that. The CRAPPY customer service - not interested.
