Places like this are becoming dinosaurs in the sense that just about everything book, CD, and movies can be downloaded it is refreshing to still see B&N still in business & I will continue to support.  Ample parking, very organized, friendly staff.

Good selection for both kids and adults. Music and movies are not sold here. The cafe is centrally located in the store.

I have always loved Barnes an Nobles!  Barns has always had crazy,large selection for every one,of every age. They have great mark downs and a B and R card with great saving and rewards( there is a fee) and a cozy coffee snack bar to boot. 
There is so much I like about Barns and Nobles I could go on and on,but most of all I appreciate the relaxed atmosphere that they aford their consumers. It is not uncommon to  find a customer in cozy corner, in cozy chair reading,and checking out all their great books, while trying to figure out the next edition to their personal library.
Barns and Noble is just a great place to shop  and buy ,and an even better place to hang out and  pass a little time.

Redding , Ca  Barnes has a very small religion section. But what's weird is you will not find just normal Christian books, but the new age Christian books ( maybe because of Bethel) just books on Angels and dreams . I just wanted a God fearing solid book that didn't talk about going to heaven and receiving jems and gold dust . Every author I asked about ... they had none but said they could order it. Pfft I wanted a good book to read while
Waiting for my order already made through Amazon!! Guess I'll stick with Amazon :/
