I love brick and mortar book stores. Not a fan of the new merchandising plan where the new releases by genre has been removed and now its all just alphabetical.

I'm seeing alot of good reviews that is very surprising. I take it no one has experienced the dreaded Barns and Noble market place. Thats a good thing because it is the absoulte worst experinece you'll have to deal with. Having shopped in stores for many years, I figured id order the books I couldnt find in store from them. Of the 4 "new" books I order I recived two copies of the same book and zero copies of another (the most expensive one) . I notified customer service quite earlier about the problem, and asked them what to do. I was told to wait until the rest of my order arrived, and when it did I still didn't have what I ordeded. I contacted customer support again about what happened. They said the item had apparently shipped and I was supposed to check with USPS. Nope they didnt have it cause they werent the ones who screwed up. After that they didnt answer my replies. Barns & Noble's customer support team is just as effortless as the people putting together the online orders. The stores are okay, but online is a third world experience at best. Don't waste your time and money shop Amazon.
