Just wow. I can spent hours here with a cup of coffee. Apart from books collection of soaps of different exotic fragrance made in UK really allured me a lot. I bought two books and calender of 2018.One of the best book store I have ever been.This is because one get easily get the new releases  .Books have a wide range catering to the needs of a book worm to alight reader. Apart from this a weary day can be easily rejuvenated over a cup of coffee along with a croissant.

Not too many of these big bookstores left. Makes me sad, because my dad loves bookstores and we always went growing up. I do like to take my daughter here and she likes that there are books and toys. I'd be tempted to buy more if their prices were a bit lower. That's my main complaint.

This review is for the Starbucks within the Barnes and Noble. The bookstore and everyone who works there are 5 stars no doubt, the Starbucks however needs work. I️ walk up and ask the barista how he’s doing and he immediately gives me a near eye roll and asks what I️ want, if you aren’t good with people, don’t work in the service industry. Then they do not have multiple syrups I️ asked for, I️ try to use a STARBUCKS GIFT CARD and apparently they don’t accept them. What? So I️ pay the 8bucks for a coffee and a pizza pretzel (I️ guess I️ asked for this next part by getting a pizza pretzel from Starbucks) and the pizza pretzel is cold to the touch. Just a buncha nonsense here in Evanston. I’ll walk the extra few blocks to go to a real Starbucks next time I️ suppose.

A good place to spend a low-cost hour or afternoon if u value broad reading & game choices, free WiFi, inexpensive, ungreasy cafe' food, usually clean toilets--as well as helpful, knowledgeable, responsive staff--if u have enuf time, patience, & sociability to take it in...

Nice store. Great selection of books and magazines. I don't like how a younger salesman tried to upstage an older salesman who was helping me. Very rude and condescending. I used to work customer service and I hated when other employees did that to me.
