Been going in here to get medication for 3 years on a bi-weekly basis and they still do the know my name and continously mess up on my prescriptions or say my Dr. NEVER SENT THE FAX......JUST WANT TO SCREAM IN THEORY FACE AT TIMES...But I'm not like that. The rest of the store is fine though.... I'd rather go to Fred Meyers or Walmart

The store itself is wonderful. There is such a fantastic store manager who takes pride in her store and her customers. This review is directed at the pharmacy department. My boyfriend called ahead to make sure that he could come and pick up my meds for me since I am ill and didn't want to go. When he arrived he was greeted by a very rude pharmacy tech. He stated that he needed my insurance information. (I had my prescriptions filled at this pharmacy since we are staying with friends and my normal pharmacy is in Everett) He told my boyfriend he needed to have CVS (my normal pharmacy) call them or he needed to come back and get me. He called CVS and they informed him that Bartell's pharmacy needs to call them to acquire the info. The pharmacy tech at Bartell's was too lazy to call so my boyfriend came to get me. We arrive back to Baretell's not only 10 minutes later and the pharmacy is closed. We asked the lady at the front and she tells us that the pharmacy closes from 1:30pm to 2:30pm so they can take lunch. For starters, that pharmacy tech never said one word about this to my boyfriend before he came to get me, There is nothing posted on the web, or in the store that states the entire pharmacy shuts down for an hour. We sat and waited for the hour. While we waited an elderly lady came in to get her meds who also said she called in before and they made no mention to her. She had to leave and as she left she said...I guess it won't kill me to wait one more day for my meds. Seriously??? Poor woman. A pharmacy tech from a different Bartell's store was there and even said it was too much for them to do that. When it was our turn to be helped, my boyfriend informed the tech that he didn't appreciate not being told that the pharmacy would be closed for an hour, since i am sick it's hard for me to get out and about. so he was reasonably upset I had to come out in the heat with him to pick up meds. The tech was very argumentative and defensive. He almost wasn't going to give me my meds. He kept saying that we were going to transfer them to CVS and that he doesn't tell any of his cuatomers that the entire pharmacy takes lunch at the same time every day. Poor poor service. Horrible tech. But once more the store manager was so nice and helpful. I did file a complaint with her and so did my boyfriend. She encouraged us that it isn't always like that and that she would like us to return. So I thank her for that.
