Base Camp was built for the Powell RIver community, a warm and welcome place to meet before going out on your journey. Our ever changing menu using local and seasonal ingredients, fresh coffee, local artwork and curated music are some of the reasons to come by and hangout.

Friendly atmosphere, popular place. Good coffee. Delicious freshly baked rhubarb muffins! The triple peaks wrap is large and filling. The first few bites were delicious, but then the strong spices became too much. Nice big tables outside to sit with a group. Smaller tables inside.

I absolutely loved Base Camp! Today was my first visit, and I'm sad I've been passing it over for this long. Great decor, and an amazing atmosphere inside. The coffee they had was a nice roast, and really fresh. Their paninis are next level delicious. Would highly recommend visiting!

Open early and a decent spot to pick up better food than on the ferry.  Suffers from Power River's overpriced restaurant syndrome.  It's not worth the price charged, but the food is tasty.
