We went here for a grad after party. We arrived a little early and waited in the car to make sure we were in the right area and to make sure it was good before we paid. The owner came bye in his go cart and got very activated feeling we were trying to get in for free. He proceeded to tell at us being extremely unprofessional calling us names and opening our car door which we said multiple times was very fragile and shouldn't be open. Don't recommend very dirty lots of bugs and very unprofessional owners.

"I would have given this a better review except for the noise". Here is a review of the campground and the fishing. First Day ========= "The owner’s brother had the music cranked" the first night and we couldn't get to sleep till after 1 AM. The music was still going and they were still partying. Second Day =========== A large group with many tents camped next to us. They turned on their music and competed with the owner’s brother who still had his music cranked loud. I spoke to the owner who said he would talk to both. He never talked to anyone. After many hours of thumping music in a different language I got fed up. We couldn't enjoy the music because it was foreign. We could barely hear each other at our site, only a hedge separated us. So I went to talked to both camp sites. They both turned down the music for a while. The neighbors turned down the bass but said that was all they would do. Fishing ====== The purpose of the trip was to scout out the area for good fishing holes and camp there during the fishing tournaments. The boat launch is about 3 feet deep and consists of a 3 foot channel that takes you out to one of the bays. One seasonal camper told us that they never use the boat launch because they damaged a propeller in the channel trying to get out. We used the channel with caution. Fishing was terrible. That has nothing to do with the campground. Other than the owner telling us the fishing was good and getting better. Seasonal Site area (main camp) =============== There are seasonal sites and transit sites. Sites in the back of the property are private. The water from the supplied water tap had dead bugs in it. I think it might be from the lake. Boil the water for 1 minute was the advice. Overall ====== I do not have a problem with people partying or playing music. The main camp with the seasonal trailers was sheltered from the blaring music by distance and the direction of the speakers. It was quiet when I went to the bathroom. This is a family campground and the couple across from us with a child and our family suffered needlessly. We have camped in many camp grounds and there is usually a quiet time after 11 PM. The owners usually enforce the noise limits. Everyone should be able to listen to music and have a good time but you shouldn't have to crank your music to overcome the owner’s music. "I will never go to this campground again or recommend it to anyone". If it was only my neighbors being noisy that is one thing, the owner allowing his family to be irresponsible is a different issue. After all, how can he crack down on others when his own brother is keeping the campers and their kids away? I had originally written about some of the better things about the camp but when I went to look at the review, they were the only things highlighted by google so I removed them.

Lots of great times here recently. Good staff constantly taking care of the staff. Good facilities and a beautiful lake within walking distance... Great spot will definitely be back!
