Our son kept getting mis diagnosed. It turns out the lump in his neck WAS something because now he has been diagnosed with stage 3/4 non Hodgkin's lymphoma. Dr. Lucose was our primary and I used to complain that she sent us too way to many specialist but now in hindsight I am so thankful for her. Had we kept listening to Our new dr. Scandura. We probably still wouldn't have known. Then we met a very ill mannered and over worked dr. Ryan I believe from ENT who had terrible bed side manner. The ONLY reason I am giving 3 stars is because of dr. Lucose, dr. Richmeyer, and dr. Canary . stay away from scandura and Ryan.

I spoke with doctor matthew cring, and what a nasty doctor he was, telling me I need to get out of the career im in.But so does he because he has no idea on how to talk to somebody. Or maybe its cause I have short hair and like girls. The way he talked to me was unreal. I wont be going there. I deserve to be treated with respect no matter on what his opinion is.

With a busy week including flying to California to bring my son to play baseball, by boyfriend in an atv accident braking his leg while I was away, to coming home to my daughter with conjunctivitis in both eyes.. I made an appointment for my daughter at 10:20 and called to let them know I would be late. The call center told me I had an half hour, well after waiting in line for 6 minutes I was told I missed my appointment at 10:53.. I was then rudly told the next appointment would not be in till 1:00.. I asked that is the soonest because I live close to 40 minutes away, and told yes. I went out to my car and called the answeing service and was told there was a 11:00 appointment and she booked it.. When I came back to register they were really irritated with me the woman at the front deskeven went back and got another employee explaining that I should have never been booked for the 11, and I would have to wait another 30 minutes before they would see me.. Not one person was kind from the get go, No eye contact and irritated we where there bothering them.. Thanks for the horrible service think twice before coming to this care center. From the front desk to the back my daughter and I bothered their time.. Unreal!

I have been a recent patient to Bassett Healthcare in Herkimer. My physician, Dr, Lee relocated to your facility recently and without hesitation I transferred my care due to my desire to continue under her excellent practice. Holistic care is a goal of many physicians but to achieve it takes time . It requires listening to the patient and providing the quality of life that is important to the individual. Dr. Lee does this. Leaving my previous health care facility was a more difficult decision. I now know it was a good one, The staff at Bassett in Herkimer is consistently excellent. The nursing, lab and radiology staff excel in their efforts to provide quality care. Recently Michele from radiology went above and beyond to help me through a difficult day. Her efforts and kindness were much appreciated. Dr. Lee's nurse Marsha is always attentive and kind. The facility is clean and patient friendly.
