I self-manage 19 rental units in NE and SE. Aaron, Vivi and James (et. all) are my crew. They get the job done as efficiently as can be expected in DC, and I have handed them some doozies!  I consider my attorney's fees reasonable and money well spent. I really couldn't ask anything more.

Sometime after Thanksgiving the heater in my apartment stopped working and I was having problems with the landlord and property management in regards to this issue. Aaron Sokolow represented me in a landlord-tenant dispute and provided guidance what steps to take to make sure everything worked out in the end. This guidance helped me think about the outcome if I were to make certain decisions and with his help we negotiated a settlement with the landlord. Communication with Mr. Sokolow was excellent - he responded on time to my questions and concerns and make sure to contact the landlord's attorney if there was any delay in their response. 

Thank you for your help and I am glad I had the right team helping me out. I was lost without knowing what to do and thanks to you, I now know more about my tenant's rights.

Aaron Sokolow represented me in a Landlord-Tenant matter, and every interaction I had with his office and staff was incredibly positive and professional, starting with the very first phone call in which I naively inquired about "what I should do". Aaron was always patient in explaining the ins and outs of an arcane and obtuse legal system, offering me options, but *always* letting, if not insisting, that I be the one to decide our best course of action. It was a very empowering experience and at the same time I felt well cared for. Aaron's office is very transparent with their billing practices and I felt that everything was done to keep me cognizant of where my money was going. If you are an independent landlord needing help dealing with a difficult tenant situation, this is the firm for you. Don't hesitate; call them today.
