I tell you I generally never send stuff back, but ... This cake was so dry, it was like eating chalk. We didn’t even eat it. I returned the uneaten portion, and it was no shock no one was in the place. I asked for the manager and explained that this was not work $70 bucks, and a Walmart cake would have been much better. Very disappointed in Baum’s for serving what seemed to be an old frozen pre made sheet cake. What a waste of $70 ...

They have the best buttercream cakes here, BUT they never have anything in stock. I don't care what day you go, especially the cupcakes. If they do, it's the "ugly ones". Also be cautious because my family and I have received stale cakes. It hasn't happened lately but has happened to us at least 3x.

I referred my daughter to Baums because I had previously purchased a cake and it was awesome. However, the birthday cake we got on this past Saturday August 19th 2017 was HORRIBLE! The decoration was terrible and I have NEVER had a cake with a hard sponge like consistency! I knew it was a problem while cutting the cake because it felt different! The guest even complained! I could not even compare the cake to cornbread it was absolutely HORRIBLE and cost $58! I have never been so embarrassed and ashame of serving such a mess as that cake was! SHAME ON BAUMS I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR PURCHASE ANOTHER CAKE FROM YOUR BUSINESS EVER!
