We love the nature center here for the wildlife exhibits. The kids especially like the occasional live turtle or salamander in a tank. I enjoy watching the birds outside from the bird room. The beach is just beautiful, the marsh pond has a nice dock to experience it, and the nature trails are nice. We enjoyed the playground. The splash park looks like a blast, though we were there in cold weather when it was off. Camping is available across the road.

Great place to visit. The additions throughout the year have been great for making this a rememberable place for family and friends to keep coming back to. More big events would be nice. They try hard to keep the beach clean. Lots to do for all ages that love the outdoors, the recreational pass is well worth the money.

We come here as often as possible. I love the splash park in the summer. Play equipment is clean and safe. Beautiful views and trails. Very good for family entertainment.

This park does a nice job with kid-friendly educational programs.  The spray park is great for kids and the waterfowl center is educational and fun.  The beach leaves a little to be desired, but itnis what it is.

I've used the state park for running, walking and taking the dogs out and about. It's a beautiful place and there's a good chance you'll see wildlife if you go early in the morning or around dusk. I've seen numerous deer, muskrat and other animals. A gem for Bay County.
