Even if you don't know much about the architecture, the model is an amazing sight, great place to take your kids and have them find the places around the bay you've visited!

Very informative especially the section about Marin Ships in Marin City. I never knew lil ok Sausalito had such an impact on WW2 history.

Interesting model of the San Francisco bay and delta area tides. The model is the size of 2 football fields and every 15 minutes or so goes from high to low tide and back again. They also have a small display about the Marinship shipyard that was there in about 1942. Interesting short film and artifacts.

This is a wonderful place for exploration and education. Bring your children here for an education they will love. Lots of interactive stations that will keep the most jaded engaged. There is no charge for entry, although they do ask for donations.
