From our family to yours, since 1947

Plumbing, heating, mechanical, municipal, utility, and general contractors throughout western Mass. and New England have relied on us for top-quality residential and commercial plumbing and heating supplies since our founding in 1947. A local family owned business that began as a small sales counter on State Street in Springfield's downtown area. Shortly after, as the business grew, we moved into the current Mill Street location in Springfield's South End. With over 50,000 square feet of warehouse space and pipe yard our customers have the ability to choose from thousands of products in stock. For more than 60 years we continue to be western Massachusetts most complete source of plumbing and heating products.

Over the years, we have continuously adapted to the changing demands of our industry by listening to our loyal customers. Our commitment has always been driven to provide a one-stop shopping experience for our customers and allow our highly trained employees to help you with everything from product selection, to technical support, to certification. As a result of listening to our customers needs and recognizing the increased consumer demand for kitchen and bath products we opened our new retail showroom. Today, we have a state-of-the-art Design Center that features the highest quality kitchen and bath products. We are an authorized Kohler distributor offering its full line of products. In addition, we carry a diverse selection of other high quality products from featured vendors such as Delta, Symmons, Elkay, Newport Brass, Aker by Maax, Bain Ultra and more. Bay State also offers many products designed for Green Home remodeling including low water consumption faucets, low flow toilets, energy efficient shower heads, as well as eco-friendly flooring, lighting, vanities, and countertops.
