This campsite is a joke, I don't recommend it to anyone. The sites are a huge distance from the lake first of all and there's millions of mosquitoes! Why don't they spray? Secondly, they didn't even bother to send out an email that the weekend we had reserved, the lake was closed due to e coli. That is one of the main attractions to coming here! The other main attraction is the observatory, which is also closed!  Super lame. Nothing to do here. They are also super strict with many rules, and are constantly patrolling the camp site all day. I'll never come back.  We went into the woods to grab a marshmallow stick and the caretaker was immediately on top of us asking what we were doing. When we were parking our camper, the caretaker was on top of us making sure we did it properly. Very uptight.

We had such an amazing experience at Baylor Regional Park. The staff are really nice and very helpful. We love that they offered a free class for kids on Saturday mornings. When we would buy packs of wood, they would deliver it to our campsite right away.The bathrooms are very well maintained and everything seems so well kept. My family and friends can't wait to book our next camping trip there.

Beautiful campground. Been coming here for years with my family. This year the caretaker hovered over our campsite looking for any little thing to harass us about; made us feel like criminals.

Stayed memorial weekend, great place to camp with kids. Fishing, swimming, observatory, and playground all in walking distance. The grounds are nicely maintained and they deliver wood to your site. Very convenient.

We have our family reunion here every year. Nice park that's easy to get to for most relatives.
