Very nice rural settings and close to the city centre by highway 49. We only stayed one night in transit but found the owner and staff very helpful and nice. They have propane on site to top up your tank. The sites aren’t concreted but all pads are gravelled- though heavy rains lately haven’t helped. The laundry appeared fine, though we didn’t require it. The bath house was clean and tidy but lacking hot water - we did shower late so maybe every one else got hot water, because the next water there was heaps. The park does provide a Good Sams discount, which we like. It’s a nice rural setting.

I have no idea how this place has a 4.3 stars. I was very disappointed and couldn’t wait to leave. What a crazy mud hole! Not big rig friendly as you will bury your rig. Not worth the $40 a night. The road leading up to the campground is horrible and huge need of repair. Showers were dirty and had very little water pressure. Owner was nice and worked to put us in a mostly dry spot. They are trying to improve as there were piles of gravel and new cable line being laid.

We stopped in to Bayou Wilderness RV Resort planning on staying one night. My wife had a medical emergency and had to be hospitalized the very next morning. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful. They were extremely concerned kept asking about my wife and even made accommodations so we could stay much longer. Every effort was made by them to make our difficult time a little bit easier. The park itself is very nice with level sites. We will be coming back here. Outstanding Park.

Very muddy. They really need to get a lot of gravel in there. No pads for a picnic table. But, the place is clean and it was fine for spending one night

My family and I love staying here. Large pull through spots with full hookups and cable. Our kids love the pool with water slides & the playground. Bathhouse is very clean and plenty of washers & dryers for extended stays. You will not find a better owner and staff, super helpful and friendly. We Love it!
