Bazil's is a more mature experience with excellent food and a massive variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The service staff is always knowledgeable and professional, and it's clear that this business always takes things to the next level with regular tastings and events. During the summer, their patio is alive with Houdini Square events (and the best bloody Mary you'll ever have). Oh, and prepare to enjoy the best barstools in all of Appleton. No obnoxious bar shenanigans here. This is a place where you can always have a great time.

Went on "Light up the Night" and it was crowded, but everyone was so friendly and the service was amazing! Had a burger there and it was one of the best burgers I've ever had! Definitely going there again!

This establishment gets five stars for the condition of the bathroom alone. Saturday night? Don't worry. Sit down on that seat without any worries of drunken sailor pee splash. Cleanest bathrooms on college avenue. When other college avenue bar bathrooms look and smell like an infectious disease bio lab, Bazil's bathrooms always smell like a summer sunflower breeze and unicorn farts, just like your mom's.

In all fairness I have only been here twice, luckily my first experience was ok because I would not have gone back if the last visit was my first impression!

We were greeted fairly quickly, we sat at the bar to eat and were greeted within 5-10 minutes - granted they were very busy. The waitress seemed to be friendly at first but never asked how we wanted our burgers done - make sure you ask or you will get it well... WELL done!

We also ordered 2 glasses of their best scotch, and never saw a waiter/waitress/bartender again! At nearly $100 you would think they would ask if we wanted another!!

After about 90 minutes I finally had to track down a bartender and literally had to beg to pay the bill! I should have just left...

However, like I said my first visit was great so maybe I just caught them on a bad day. The other reviews seem positive so I will try again and will update my review if the service is better.
