This was first time coming here to this BBQ Tofu restaurant. And boy was I'm impressed. It has a prime location to Enson market formerly known as 1st Oriental Market. Inside you can hear the K-pop and feel the Korean vibe in the house. What makes it different from other places the fresh tofu that is added into the soup dishes which makes it a great texture component. My sister and I ordered hot barley tea to drink and the k-pop chicken. It was deliciously fried pieces of chicken thigh meat dipped in a tangy sauce. The Korean side dishes were to die for: fish cake, cucumber, Broccoli, Caesar salad, bean sprouts and kimchi. I ordered the Galbi Korean short-rib tofu soup and my sister ordered Seafood Combo Soup with Bulgogi. Each came with egg and rice. This was such a delicious meal to ring in the Chinese New Year of the Tiger!
Good taste surprised The tofu pot is super delicious that we can’t believed. The clay pot Korean rice Entree #11 Dolsot with beef is my favorite-dish everywhere we try Korean food. Here the taste is very delicious! Rice cake is good not too spicy. And tofu soup is the must-try here so flavorful and has shrimp-beef- clam. Gonna bring lot of families here. Awesome asian food! Yummy yummy ~rice is tasty ~ highly recommend this spot.
This place get busy fast. Opened at 4:45pm, pack by 5:30pm. it offers more than just tofu, everything is great.
For how long I've lived in Orlando I'm disappointed in myself for not knowing this spot was in Chinatown on Colonial. I pinched myself after our meal because I regret not coming here before. Their soup that comes with the entree was really good. Beware that it does have seafood in it so in case you're allergic but otherwise it was really good. Appetizers were great, especially the tofugeez so good. We actually didn't realize how much food we had ordered so we basically just shared it amongst the group. You can tell just from my photos that it's definitely bang for buck. Atmosphere was very chill as well with some kpop playing in the background. Very much worth trying this spot out, I doubt anyone will come out disappointed for going.
Yesterday was my first time trying out BBB Tofu House, and the food was excellent! I've tried the Dolpan Kimchi Bokleum Bap and became my favorite dish! I haven't tried soju before until I tried the strawberry soju which was very good! I would highly recommend it! See y'all again next time!
Great food and fair prices. Nice and authentic with very traditional and fresh flavors. The flavor was good but not great on the bibimbap. The short ribs had good flavor but they were a little tough and they put the pieces with lots of meat on top of the plate and the ones with more bone than meat at the bottom. I didn't appreciate that. Also the service was just ok.. The server was horribly serious and didn't really explain the menu that well when we asked.
Great food. You will not be disappointed. The portions were great. Gray spot to put down the cell phones and enjoy dinner with the family.
Love the food and the good service! We ordered galbi, japche, seafood pancake and beef sundubu. Will definitely go back!
Not traditional Korean. The neighborhood BBB located seems a bit run down. Food though was delicious with generous portions. Staff was excellent. Energetic, attentive and on point. Good music and vibe.
BBB Tofu House is by far the best Korean Soup shop area the Orlando area. My family and I usually orders Galbi and Kimchi+Pork soups plus K-Pop chicken. Galbi soup my wife get it plain as she usually share with my son, but everytime the soup is consistently good. The kimchi pork soup is well balanced between spice and flavors. However, if you prefer a more sour tasting traditional Korean this is not it.. BBB Tofu House balances the soup out so you taste everything, which I found nice as sourness of certain korean soups just covers up all over flavors. If you like ramen which my family does, you can get it added on and they increases the bowl size too. The K-pop chicken comes with spicy cheese powder, honey and Chipotle like sauce which we prefer to have it on the side in order to keep the crunchiness of the popcorn like chicken. I would say the K-Pop chicken is one of the best popcorn chicken around. If some thai basil is added into the frying process.. although it wouldn't be just korean popcorn chicken anymore longer, but it would be the best popcorn chicken I tasted since Asia. Lastly the management made some changes which jurassically improved the service. Now, not only the food is great, the service compliments the food ever more. Last thing that my family and I does like is the seafood pancake which is one of the best Korean seafood pancake around Orlando area, but since we love popcorn chicken more; so, we usually get that over the seafood pancake. Also the side dishes are great too especially the fish cake which is the best korean fish cake I have tasted as side dish as they make it fresh and sometimes the fish cakes comes out warm if you go there when they first open. Overall, if you into Korean soups that has a more modern twist give BBB tofu House a try. Trust me you won't regret it.
