A wonderful facility to visit with your young family.  Learn about the forestry industry, ride the train, and explore nature trails or restored old forestry buildings.  The kids love playing at the playground too, but it would be great to see that part expanded and kept up a little better.

My 3-year old son just loves this place. We ride the train almost every weekend. We have a seasons pass which is well worth it seeing as we visit 20+ times a year. Highly recommend a visit for tourists or seasons pass for locals.

Nice place to visit with kids. You have the opportunity to ride a real vapor train. My toddler was ultra happy while riding the train. Also there is a park for kids in the last stop (there is two stops).

Always a great family rime! The Halloween and Christmas train and exhibits get better every year.

Amazing place for the kids. Train rides are awesome and lots of stuff to play with and learn about. Don't miss out. The holiday specials they put on are great too
