Story

Serving breakfast and lunch created with fresh picked ingredients right from Beach Plum's 60 acre working farm served direct to your table. Right now, the Farm Kitchen is serving our own Heritage Berkshire pork, fresh eggs from our cage free hens, rhubarb, spring lettuces, Swiss chard, spinach and asparagus.

The Beach Plum Farm Market also features fresh herbs and flowers, our own eggs and produce, the best locally made condiments, quality hand made goods from Cape May County and carefully curated objects that let you to bring a piece of your farm
experience back home with you.

This farm is beautiful and classy and natural and everything your beach weekend needs for a nice meal out. It is about halfway between downtown and sunset beach. Tell me this isn't the start to a perfect day: ride your bike past the winery to Beach Plum Farm, order delicious food and fresh iced teas that you can sip as your food is prepared, eat your food at a picnic table, walk around the farm with a free refill of your fresh tea, see the pigs and chickens and fields of flowers and veggies, walk back to the farmhouse and shop for ingredients you may want for later in the week such as eggs, chicken, or veggies, buy a nice keepsake from the shop upstairs that you can use in your kitchen back home like a towel, cutting board, or mug, buy some freshly picked flowers to decorate your place with, and pick some fresh herbs on your way out as you get another free refill of fresh tea for the ride home. That is the way to start the day in Cape May!

I love this place. We came over to this place last weekend with my mom and her dog and my toddler son. We all had a great time. My son fed and chased the chickens. We went for a small nature walk. We had a delicious lunch. My son had a hoy dog and pasta salad. Pasta salad could use some seasoning. I had a turkey sandwich. The bread was amazing. I had coleslaw with it. Yummy. My mom had a chicken sandwich. My favorite part of lunch the many choices of fresh tea. My son played on the slide while we ate. The people here were so nice they brought over a huge bowl of water for my mom's dog. What a great place....by the way I love their teas.

The Beach Plum Farm is by far one of the most creative and established farms in Cape May County. There are reasons why farming has become industrialized, which is why it is so great to see a small farm succeed. I hope the Beach Plum Farm becomes a benchmark for others who are willing to take on similar projects in this area. It's nice to have a different concept in a town that has so much redundancy with their cuisine. The atmosphere is different than most other places on the island and it is comfortable and cozy. It is also child friendly and quite casual. Thanks for a great time.

Great way to beat the the diner breakfast crowd at the shore. Good, fresh food in a fun atmosphere. Bring the kids and check out the farm animals.

Small, but very fresh selection of breakfast and lunch options. The sage Scotch Egg was a different option to see on the menu. Working farm is worth a stroll around, and it sells produce which is great if you are renting in the area.
