John is a master mechanic. Sixty some years as a father son business. He is honest and has fixed all of my vehicles with integrity. He takes the pain out of the automobile game.

Recently had both my CV axles replaced by Beacon Hill. After it was complete, the first time I took it on the highway the steering wheel had a bad shimmy starting around 65. Told John right away. He said to drop it off. I did. He rebalanced all my wheels and rotated my tires (free of charge no less). Test drive 2: no shimmy. Old school shop. Good work, fair prices and hometown feel. I'd go to again.

My family and I have been relying on Beacon Hill Auto for around eight years. What keeps me coming back is their integrity; I've never been high-balled or cheated by them and they have always had a reasonable price and solution for my car troubles. I feel like I can really trust their skill and honesty, which is why I've been relying on them for so long and will continue to rely on them.

When I first moved into the neighborhood over 20 years ago, I received two recommendations for a mechanic. I went to the first one. He immediately informed me that I needed $1,100 worth of body work on my car, pushing the back down and showing me how it didn’t pop up fast enough or something like that. I left there and went to the second location which was yours. John looked at the car and said there was absolutely nothing wrong with it except for the oil change that that I came in for in the first place. I never did need any body work on the car. Since that time, I have always appreciated that I could rely on Beacn Hill to honestly and competently assess any problems in my cars and repair them appropriately, and while doing so, always charge a fair price. I particuarly look back fondly on that Mercury Villager that John managed to eek out over 300, 000 miles. In a business that is not always known for its integrity, it is reassuring to be in such hands. It is my wish that this business continues to flourish as it deserves to, and that I will be able to continue to rely on its expertise for years to come.
