The store has great sales, is always clean, and the staff is helpful. I ordered beach towels online. I got a really good price and assumed the quality would be cheap. But they are made really well, and full size. I am extremely satisfied with the store and the company overall. I will continue to tell my friends. Thank you for a wonderful shopping experience!

At a time when I'm having a really hard time dealing with getting older and, unfortunately, stuck living in a town where everyone is ancient, the clerk said to me I got an even better discount on my blouse "because you're old". I was stunned at her comment. I said "thanks a lot". I have shopped here many times over the years and have found some very nice things. I went to the parking lot and cried. Call me uber sensitive but I will never shop here again.

Terrible experience. Tried to purchase two Columbia shirts. They were clearly marked under a sign that said regular price 39.99 sale 25% off. To most this seems pretty clear, however to the manager this was not. Brought the shirts up and they both rang up 39.99. Waited for her to discount it 25%, but she never did. Brought it to the cashier's attention and she had to grab a manager. The manager went over to look at the sign and then pulled it down. She said she would still honor the 25% but said this was not part of the sale anymore... ok, I thought that was fair as it was their mistake. Then, the cashier brings to my attention that one of the shirts was marked on the tag as 65.00 not 39.99 and says this would not be discounted off of 39.99. The manager then tried to show me a different sign under the table that she miraculously pulled out and said see this is for shorts not shirts. I politely pointed out that that wasn't even the sign that she just pulled off the racks. When she looked again she found the correct sign that clearly said shirts. Then started making more excuses as to why the one shirt was 65 and not 39.99, even though they both rang up the same price and were mistakenly placed on the same rack, another mistake by the store that they couldn't admit to. I ended up leaving without any shirts. On second thought, even $30.00 is outrageous to pay for shirts with poor customer service. Good job Bealls, I'll never be shopping here again, this was my first and last time in the store.
