Wing king of Columbus here, yet another report from the road. I stopped in here and got some smoked wings and a 2 meat platter. The "smoked" wings need the quote marks, because while they were smoked at some point, they are then deep fried to warm them up, which transfers over the flavor of the grease, and everything else cooked in the grease, over powering the smoked flavor. The hot BBQ I tossed them in was good, plenty of flavor, decent flavor. For my 2 meat platter, I got brisket and kielbasa with Mac n cheese and beans. Let's start with the best part, the kielbasa was full of flavor, cooked perfectly. The brisket was cooked good, a little char. I got Texas sauce drizzled over this, and the sauce was tasty. The Mac n cheese was good, plenty of flavor. The beans were disgusting. Poorly cooked beans, leaving them a little hard, then so much meat there was 0 sauce to them. Then to top it all off, I get my food back to my room and there is no silverware, no mention at the register to pick some up. They bagged my food to go, so expecting silverware is kind of on par, at least asking.

Experienced BEARS in Hartford for the first time w co-workers. Got there around 1145 for lunch and good thing because when we got to our seats all the locals, students, corporates, and others came out of the woodwork and the line got long fast! Food is prepared and served in front of patron. Its come a long way from Palisado in Windsor! Good for Bears! Place has a young corporate feel being it's in the city but one still gets all the comfort food made w love! A good time and the bar is a great place for fun and conversation! Casual good place for that "not so sure hook up"! Check it out!

Some of the best BBQ anywhere; fantastic. I've tried most of the meats with Their KC and Texas sauces... They allow you to spice things up if you like too. The mac and cheese, baked beans, Apple and pack cobbler are all great, and don't forget the cornbread work sweet butter.

Decent sides, good kielbasa, the pulled pork and the brisket were both a bit dry. Sauces were ok. Staff is friendly, quick service (obviously) and pricing was ok. Not sure what the deal was with the green house running from store room into the kitchen was all about. Bathroom wasn't as clean as it should've been for off peak hours. Probably wouldn't go back unless I needed something quick and easy.

Best barbeque in New England. The brisket is great, the burnt ends are crispy, and for my money you can't beat the Texas sausage with jalapenos and cheddar ground in. A good variety with their sauces too. Packed with flavor and a good amount of heat.
