One of the worst experiences we’ve ever had with a company for a simple fix in our house. Outrageous prices. 500$ to fix one pipe in our bathroom. Didn’t ever hold true to what they said they would do or charge. We ended up doing the job 100% ourselves. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I called Bear family Plumbing about some water we had leaking into our basement. They were very accommodating and got our here the same day I called!! Even showed up early which was awesome! They gave me a call before the appointment to let me know an exact time they would be arriving too. 
     Sean come out and checked out the leak for us. He was extremely professional and very friendly! He figured out the issue right away. 
These guys are seriously awesome and I am now a customer for life!

These folks bend over backwards to satisfy their customers. Shawn had come out to repair my AC unit. A few days later the system was acting up. The coils inside the house had iced over and were no longer cooling the house. I called into Bear Family and spoke with Dawn explaining what was going on with my AC system. Shawn returned within the allotted time frame, connected to the system and determined the fault. The fan malfunctioned which caused the icing over. 

Bear Family P, H & C didn't charge for the service call, Shawn provided excellent service. Dawn and Kathy have been wonderful to speak with and I'm sure that Mike is very personable as well as professional.  
You couldn't find a better HVAC company in the state. They are highly recommended.

Of course the hot water heater went out when we had house guests, and on a Friday.  And of course we wanted to replace it with a high efficiency on-demand water heater if possible (not a great time to do the research when you have one already broken!).  We called two or three places, and were told they couldn't get to us till Monday, or that the cost would be $6,000-10,000 (for a water heater?!)  The folks at Bears came out to give us an estimate for the on-demand water heater.  They explained that the installation would involve moving pipes and putting an exhaust pipe through the wall - which wasn't financially or time-wise feasible for us.  They provided an estimate for a high efficiency conventional hot water heater which was reasonable.  They were having a crazy Friday with emergencies all over, but came out the next day on Saturday, and had it installed in an hour with all of the mess cleaned up.  Our only complaint?  That we had to turn the temperature down three times on the thing because it is so efficient and hot :D  Thanks Bears!

I would recommend them to anyone, we initially had them come out for a second opinion from a company who said we needed a new furnace. Shawn arrived right on time and thankfully was able to fix what was wrong without costing an arm and a leg. We really appreciate the work they've done for us.
