I was truly disappointed when I opened my bowl. Don’t order out here. You have no way of correcting for their slack. I ordered taco salad, sub the chorizo for tofu. There was 1 cube of stale tofu and some tempura crumbs. The staff should have the decency to admit and say “sorry we are out of xxx” if that’s the case. There were hardly any traces of beans even. At least the romaine and avocado were fresh. I feel like I paid $14 for a bowl of lettuce. The flavor was there, so it definitely had potential.
One of my favorite lunch spots in the area with ample indoor seating. Inside is chic with swinging chairs. For a vegan fast causal place, I think it hits all the spots for a non-vegan like me. I've tried their salads and burger meets expectation. Then lately mac and cheese here: good umami but lacks a good amount of sauce. You order up front, no frills. Good selection of salad, wraps, burgers and sides. Self-serve water station inside, which is a plus. Vegetarian options: Vegan Dietary restrictions: Vegan Kid-friendliness: Lots of space inside
The place is nice. I got a classic burger and fries. Burger is ok for a vegan burger. I'm not sure if ketchup is not vegan or something but they had a beet dip I guess. I didn't like the fries. Fries felt soggy and soulless. They have tab water available by the door. That's an attraction for hot days. Overall my experience was ok.
Nice place with a great variety of vegan food and friendly service. The buffalo cauliflower wrap was amazing, so delicious. The burger was good as well although a bit more sauce would’ve made it perfect. Drinks were average, kind of lacking flavor. They tasted like flavored water. But overall it was a nice experience.
Food is not nearly as good was it used to be. :/ the Mac and cheese used to have more sauce and flavor and actual mushroom bacon, the guacamole burger used to be so flavorful and juicy, now it’s bland and dry like bread, and the peanut whatever salad used to have very delicious tempeh and now has tofu that isn’t marinated, just thrown in a sugary sauce. Overall disappointing…and all at a higher price tag.
This particular branch of By Chloe is my absolute favorite. The staff are always kind, patient, and helpful. They've also been known to do celebrations, like giving away vegan ice cream cups. Their all-vegan food is the most decently-priced for decent and convenient diner eats with gluten-free options. From burgers to salads, they're a real delight! Also, they air fry, which makes for a little less guilt when digging into a large batch of sweet potato fries with beet ketchup! This space is large, with many tables and a backroom with an avocado-shaped mini-sofa, as well as a front patio.
It was a barely hard to find. It sits behind a playground and is across the street from a parking lot. I bought a salad, a juice, a cookie, and banana bread! And I barely spent $20! Everything was delicious. Everything is vegan. I really loved the banana bread it was perfect and guilt free. They were fast with my order. The restaurant itself is beautiful . The hanging chairs and hanging lights give it a chill aesthetic.
Best vegan burgers in NYC! As good as the sweets. All in all amazing. Thank you very much! Vegetarian options: Vegan
love the food here, especially the kale ceaser salad, and quinoa taco salad!! very sad to hear that all the beatnic's are converting to inday restaurants, which only has a few vegan options and none of the salads i've grown to love : the end of a great era.
Good variety of creative and tasty salad bowls. Also has seasonal menu. The side options were filling and yummy. The only pity is the server was too lazy to check the binder for ingredients list; he could not confirm if they use refined sugar in the food and my husband is allergic to refined sugar so he could not have anything. We recently went to the West Village location and the lady there was so patient and checked the binder to know which salads are refined sugar free FYI only burrata salad has refined sugar
