Both the burgers in picture we had were very good. Fries were yum yum and the toast with avocado on it was good too. Place was nice and clean. Would definitely recommend for my vegans out there and people who eat halal/kosher. Would definitely be going there again and will update review for the names of the burgers.
I really wanted to love this place! Their street advertising focusing on mushroom dishes drew me in. Great concept, pleasing interior, menu looked super interesting and I ordered the magic mushroom salad for $13 + tax which quickly arrived. While it looked appetizing, the food itself was a disappointment. A HUGE pile of lettuce was covered with drops of tasty mushrooms, Guacamole, etc but overall it was lacking in real flavor. No sauces were served or visibly available, no waitstaff asked for my satisfaction and I sadly won't return here again... Great idea lost to a dish that didn't deliver... Only bonus point: I enjoyed that their PoS terminal didn't ask for tips, which is only fair as zero service was provided. Vegetarian options: Plenty of options, my choice was lacking flavor.
Located in the former location of By Chloè, this is a good vegan option if you find yourself around the village. I personally didn’t like The Guac burger but loved the kale-cesar salad and the hot chicky.
Angelo was the best our server. He made great recommendations and we loved each of them. One of the best vegan places I've been too by a long shot. The guac burger was awesome and the fries were delicious. It will become a local favorite of mine in no time.
Despite that this shop is small, the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The desert are excellent and have a unique taste. They have macha drinks which is hard to find these days and they do not rush you ni matter how ever long you take to order. This is a quick in and out shop since there are no restrooms and it is not too wheelchair friendly due to the size of the shop and entrance.
When people hear vegetarian they except you to be talking about a salad.. but by Chloe has the best veggie meatball sub with pesto sauce!! The beet ketchup is an acquired taste, I wasn’t into it I prefer regular ketchup but that wasn’t an option. The air baked fries were a noo from me. This place gets busy quickly and therefore you’ll have to struggle to find a place to sit. I would recommend only for the veggie meatball sub because that was amazing!
the food is good, but not amazing. it’s vegan fast food. I was underwhelmed. of course it’s great that everything is vegan, and they cater to gluten free, but I don’t think i’d return. it’s a great concept, but my meal wasn’t memorable. I got the spicy thai salad, half and half fries, and gluten free chocolate chip cookie. I got $10 off from downloading their app, which is the only reason I came. the spicy thai salad was good. felt a bit fast-foody, with overall flavor coming from the fried tempeh. wasn’t extremely fresh. could’ve had more life and flavor to it. the french fries are air-fried, which is a nice healthy alternative to traditional oil-frying. they’re also gluten-free. however, they were not fresh. some fries were burnt and they lacked flavor overall. slightly cold. I almost asked for new fries. disappointing. the vegan chocolate chip cookie was good - a bit overcooked, as I wish it was softer in the middle. flavor was good, like a classic chocolate chip cookie. also it’s gluten free which I love. overall improvements could be made, but for the price point, it’s not a bad option for a vegan meal. be aware it’s like fast food. employees were nice and friendly : but food could be fresher.
Quick, non expensive, super yummy comfort vegan food!! I had the meatball roll, sweet potato fries and a coconut sunshine smoothie I’m a little piggy but I wanted to try it all! It’s a gorgeous insta worthy place with eat in and take out. There’s not a crazy amount of seating but I went on a Sunday afternoon and there’s was seats for everyone. They sell salads, burgers, cakes and smoothies. All vegan
I’ve been to other locations of Beatnic and I love their food. It’s very tasty and being a vegetarian, I love just going crazy with the whole menu. This location is awesome cause they offer a student loyalty program! I only removed one star because we must have come right at 11, cause we stood around in an empty place for almost 10 mins before anyone even came out of the back/bathroom to realise we were standing there. But so worth the wait. I loved my cauliflower wrap and I even got a side buffalo cauliflower that was super yummy! Looking forward to my next lunch!
I absolutely love by Chloe, but you have to be prepared to wait and be kind of uncomfortable doing so. The place is ALWAYS crowded a good sign! and it can be hard to find seating. However, their food is delicious. I personally prefer the salads over the sandwiches because I think they have more food. My favorite is the taco quinoa salad and my favorite sandwich is the pesto meatball. I wouldn't recommend the sweet potato fries, go for the pasta side instead.
