There wasn't any other customers and I was taken immediately. I wanted a chair facial and full face waxing with eyebrows. The girl was very nice and I enjoyed the chair massage very much and my eyebrows turned out perfect. However, I was very disappointed in the face waxing. My entire face was red and thought putting some ice around my face would help. When I woke up the next morning, most of my face was red with scaring because of the waxing. This was actually the second time this happened to me.  Even though the girl was nice over all and spent almost 2 hours with me... I wish she look my face into more consideration. I will not go back again for any kind of waxing.

When I walked in this salon, I was instantly greeted with dirty looks from the customers and after waiting 30 minutes and was finally in the chair.. I could tell the two beauticians were talking about me and after about 45 seconds I was told because I am a transgender woman, I was not allowed to be serviced at their salon. "Women's Beauty Salon", but only for women they deem "real". Very disrespectful and very inappropriate.

I have been coming to begums salon to get my eyebrows threaded for approximately 3 years now. It's friendly, clean, and the cost is pretty average for eyebrow threading ($8). Out of all the times I have been here to get my eyebrows done, I can say I have only had one unsatisfying experience. Other than the one time, every single visit is always a pleasure. I will keep coming to begums as long as they're open and as long as I am in Georgia, it's definitely worth the drive and way better than the kiosks in the mall! I tell all my friends about Begums salon and if you want your eyebrows to look amazing I would definitely recommend Begums salon 😊.

Today I was very disappointed in my experience at Begum's Salon. I was originally referred to go there from one of my friends last year, and I decided to make the switch from getting my eyebrows waxed to getting them threaded. I have been a happy customer for over a year, returning bi-monthly and referring my friends, but today I had an absolutely awful experience. I have been in the process of growing out my eyebrows for several weeks now, and decided to color in the areas that were still growing out to show the woman working there how I wanted to get them threaded according to my desired look. I specially asked her to only thread the arch and not touch any of the front of my eyebrows, and she seemed disconnected and uninterested from the start. No matter if a salon charges $7 for eyebrow threading or $17, they are still running a business with customers who will refer their friends. Customer service is extremely important to me, and I did not feel as if I was being taken seriously by the woman there. After threading one eyebrow, she showed me it in the mirror and I expressed my disappointment to her, yet she just made up excuses instead of simply apologizing. At that point I had no other choice but to tell her to make the other eyebrow even with the first, but now I am extremely upset with how my eyebrows have turned out. I will not being returning ever to Begums or referring any of my friends there any longer.
