Will not return. My child's medicine needed to be compounded,  and we seriously needed it asap and told them so.  I  was told it would be ready by 11am the next day. I came in at 11, not ready.  Came back at 1230 and still not ready. I  want offered a real explanation as to the delay,  nor notified via phone whether  something has gone awry with their order this morning. The biggest issue is that my child is in pain and needs the medication for comfort and healing, but I waited around for 2 hours for this medication and I had to cancel my appointment which cost me money.
The Improvement I'm looking for would be communication

I have been a customer with Belew Drugs for 18 years and I have always felt welcomed. It is really nice to walk in and someone wave and ask how I'm doing and actually want to know how I'm doing or someone in my family or a friend is doing. It has been like that from the very first visit and it's hard to find that degree of service in any business these day. I have recommended Belew's to my family, friends and acquaintances for years. I have seen David Belew or his wife Amy go above and beyond the call of duty to help those less fortunate to be able to get their needed medications. Not only David and Amy but, I have seen everyone on the staff share that same degree of caring towards every customer that walks through the door. I have watched the business grow throughout the Knoxville area and that same compassionate service is now available to a larger portion of the East Knoxville and North Knoxville areas. So if you are looking for a true family-friendly place to care for your medication needs l would suggest your taking your business to the fine people at Belew Drugs. I can truly say I'm glad that I did.

I KNOW THIS PLACE IS SELLING NEEDLES TO PEOPLE WITHOUT PRESCRIPTION AND MAKING THEM BASICALLY LOOK LIKE TRASH IN FRONT OF THEIR OWN CUSTOMERS BECAUSE THE PHARMASIST TRIES TO GET YOU TO TELL HIM YOURE A JUNKIE AND THEN HE SCREAMS OUT YEAH IF YOU ARE USING THEM TO USE THEM FOR DRUGS BUT ILL NEED TO SEE UR PRESCRIPTION IF YOU CANT SAY THAT FOR MY PERSONAL RECORD.

This is the place if you are looking for a personable experience. This is all the best features of an old fashioned caring drugstore! The only thing missing is a soda fountain.
