Went for a buddy's birthday and my expectations were greatly exceeded just about all around. Drinks were great, and I thought food would be as good as your regular Irish pub fare, but this place is definitely a bit better than that. I went with The Legend sandwich with side salad and it was very tasty, an excellent turkey club, but everyone's orders I was with looked great. They also have some of the best onion rings I've had around, no pulling the whole onion out on the first bite! The owner came out to talk to us about the place and he was quite charming, I'd come back just to hang out with him, the food and drinks would just be a bonus! Service was a tad slow, but we were a large party so I excuse it, plus our waitress was a gem of a woman. The pride this place has is great and I'd be happy to come back and support them more any day.
Been here twice now and was great both times. Was greeted and seated immediately. Servers are attentive and know the menu extremely well. There are fairly priced specials. I had the cod sandwich special for $12.95. It was filling, delicious and came with a side of the best potato soup I've ever had. A deal considering all Diners have been like $20+ per person lately. Previously ordered the full Irish breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed everything from the the blood pudding to the new bacon rashers used to come with corned beef instead They do have a dessert menu, but it's nothing special, sadly. The skinny itty bitty slice of Snickers pie was not worth $12.
Had a 6pm reservation on a Friday. Place was packed but the hostess and staff up front were ready to seat us. The waitress, Jenna, was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The drinks were amazing. The food was outstanding. The service was excellent. The place is clvery comfortable. I'm so glad I tried this place. I forgot to take pics of the food but I will next time. Shepherds pie is what I had with eggplant meatballs and they were better than I ever would have thought. 5++
Great food, service and atmosphere. The owner came up to us and greeted us with smiles and thanked us for coming in.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesDelivery: Yes
Stopped in yesterday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. It was a good crowd Sunday Football and great atmosphere. The menu had lots of options-it was really hard to decide what to get. We started off with the baked clams - they were delicious. Also got the jumbo pretzel as an appetizer. My friends each got the French onion soup and liked it. I got the shepherds pie how can you not at an Irish pub??. It was delicious! It’s also the only picture I took…sorry. I’ll take more next time I stop in.
Hip spot downtown with great service and surprisingly good food. Try the lobster bisque and Wedge salad. Great large bar area for football fans on Sundays
The outside dining an atmosphere was very nice. Me and my fiancé was looking forward to going this place all day and we experienced the longest wait for our food. I was out of a drink for over 30 minutes and the waitress didn’t even ask me if I wanted a new drink I had to get a bus boy attention to get me a drink. My fiancé said her shepherd pie was terrible. Nobody even came to our table to ask how is everything. Long story short I will no longer be going to this pub/restaurant and take my business elsewhere that my is valued and respected. There is no excuse why I had to wait for over an hour for a hamburger!
This was my first experience at Belfast Gastropub and surely not my last. The entrance is very nice with a good size bar. The ambiance is very welcoming. Outside dining was comfortable with enough space between seating so as not to feel on top of other patrons. Hearing was perfect and appreciated. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Drinks were stronger than expected and not those watered down experiences in some restaurants. The food was delicious and decent portion sized. Outdoor dining was also quiet enough to have a private conversation. Overall great experience. Parking: Street parking and side parking available. Ample space
Food was alright, service was fine, but honestly, how do you charge money to have ice in your drink? Then I noticed you also get charged to have your drink neat. Sooooo it's just a scam either way? Also add that in this particular instance, it was $20 to pay with a card. If you're coming here, just go to the ATM, pay the $3 service fee, and pay with cash. To top it all off, I noticed the anti BLM propaganda in the front. Didn't know I was going to the RNC. A bar should be a bar. I just left feeling a little grossed out about this place. You do you, but at least do yourself a favor and don't get a drink without knowing it's $3 more than listed and bring cash Edit: also just noticed it costs 50 cents to order your burger medium. This is literally what a scam business does - just add on here and there lol
This place is off the charts for food!!! So delicious and the managers / staff are on key A++++ anyone on Long Island should come and stop in for a bite or drink!!! The adult grilled cheese is amazing, along with the corned beef and cabbage and my daughter devoured the Mac n cheese.
