Good raisin bread as usual. Got a fresh turkey/swiss sandwich that was very good. Also picked up a couple tubs of cookie dough. The dough was really dry and extremely hard...the finished cookies were underwhelming, and felt bad as i threw out second tub...nobody was eating them. I'm thinking at one time, that dough was likely pretty good.

Got the Ruben on rasin bread by far the biggest at most tasteful Reuben you can find in the quad cites! I was able to order before closing time and get my order after close. Big shout out to Devin helping me fulfill my order on such short notice!!!

Whata gift this community has in the Belgian Village. Open two days a week is a start. I will go once a month to do my part in helping a small business. I get so much more in return.

THIS FACILITY NO LONGER RUNS AS A SIT-DOWN RESTAURANT. The "signature" sandwiches of the Belgian Village are now available UNCOOKED for take-out, as explained by the website: "We are open on Thursdays, 11am-7pm Walk-In's Welcome! 560 17th Ave Moline, IL — 61265 Please Use Side Door"

The Rubens are what I miss most about the Quad cities.  Seriously, it's a priority whenever I come home to visit.  You guys who live there are so lucky...

Great homemade bread which we look forward to getting when we visit the QC area.

This will always be a five star it has the best grilled cheese on raisin around. I just miss the fried mushrooms :
