Story

Believers Church launched as a new church plant in the fall of 1990 from a vision in the heart of our founding Pastors, Gene and June Evans, to equip God’s people to “do the works of the ministry”. From a church plant of two people in 1990, to our present day mission, we are leading people to encounter Jesus and equipping Christians to be a generation of Kingdom minded, Holy Spirit led disciples on a mission to make Jesus famous.

In January 2014, Pastor Gene and June passed the baton of leadership to their youngest son Mark and his wife Robbyn. Mark now serves as the lead preaching Pastor of Believers Church. Our church is not built on the talents of a few leaders but on the belief that we all are servants of Jesus on a mission to lead other people to encounter His love and power. Be part of our mission. Absolutely the most authentic, Holy Spirit filled church you will find in Douglasville. Everyone here is very relational, the pastor brings a grace-filled and truth ladened message that will bring you closer to Christ every Sunday, and will have you thinking about his message all week! Kids church on Sunday is so much fun, my son learns something new every weekend! Since attending here I have increased my faith in God's promises for my life, and I have finally come to realize that God is my Father who loves me and desires the best for my life in His will. I can assure you, if you ever came from a place a spiritual abuse like I have in the past, this will be an incredible place of healing in the presence of God. I am honored to be a believer and a follower of Christ!

A church full of hungry, passionate people willing to step over denominational lines, all are welcome and you experience love as soon as you walk in the door. The sermons come from a place of revelation to feed the body of Christ. They are equipping the body to look and respond just like Jesus, the worship this church is operating in is above and beyond anything I've experienced. This church is about the true gospel of the Kingdom! CHECK IT OUT!!!

Had a great time when I visited. Very engaging messages, friendly people, you can truly sense the presence of God. Then I saw His face and now I'm a Believer!!!

Believers Church has given me multiple great and amazing experiences in my first few weeks here. I am new and they have already connected with me, gotten in touch with me, and broken me down multiple times in the full force of praise and worship revolving around me. This is a great place to be and enjoy worship at.
