Story

Since 1994 Bell Design Company (BDC) has been providing professional engineering and land surveying services to both public and private clients in and around the Columbia River Gorge while providing our employees and their families the opportunity to reside in an area with a strong sense of community and incomparable opportunities for recreation. BDC is committed to improving the quality of life in our local communities through the excellence of our work, through the quality of our employees, and through our corporate and individual participation in the community.

BDC brings extensive consulting experience to both private and public contractual work. For over 23 years, we have satisfied our clients by providing a variety of professional services through the collective experience of our licensed engineers, licensed surveyors, draftsmen, structural techs, and office and field support personnel. The educational backgrounds of our employees include civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydraulic engineering, land surveying, electrical engineering and structural engineering. Additional training and certification have been added in the areas of: WSDOT SWIBS and Inspectors Training School, OR Water Rights Examining, OR Environmental Engineering Certification, OSHA Competent Person Training, Confined Space Credentials, and GPS Certification.
