Bella Sicilia is Johnstown’s Newest Italian Restaurant, located right on Scalp Ave, next to the Bel-Air Plaza. Choose from classic Italian appetizers such as tomato bruschetta, or freshly breaded calamari, healthy salads such as the popular Antipasta, our signature pasta creations (try the Rigatoni Carnivale!), fresh out-of-the-oven calzones, strombolies, or pizza. The secret to the restaurant’s success is everything is made from scratch, from the homemade sauces to the pizza dough and our famous garlic rolls. We are the perfect place for your date night, family get-together, birthday, or anniversary! We are currently BYOB, you bring the wine, we have the glasses! Reservations are recommended.

The food was fantastic and our waitress (Shelly) was wonderful. The wild mushroom dip with fresh, house made pita bread was so good we couldn't stop eating it! We will definitely be back!

Had the chicken parmesan. Spaghetti and sauce was good. But the actual chicken was not very flavorful overall, let alone for parmesan. I'd eat there again, but I'll need some convincing to try the plate again.

Went twice in 2 week. My wife and I enjoyed it so much our 1st time we came back with friends. Apps were delicious, pasta very good, and real nice meatballs. Did notice that the online menu was not available as they had not updated it yet. A lot less impressed on visit #2. The antipasto salad was sliced luncheon meats. You have to ask 4 shaker parm and then they bring it portioned in a cup. This was a Sunday afternoon and one of us ordered the meatsauce on their pasta to be told there was none, you could order meatballs. You had to ask for refills. All told the paired down menu, unavailable items, skimping on services sets off alarms that maybe they are struggling. I hope not as the food I have had was delicious and the 1 waitress very nice. Worth the trip to give it a try.

I was not impressed at all by this place. I thought it was overpriced and the food was not good either. The mushroom dip was the best part of the whole experience. The spaghetti was 17 dollars and to me below average tasting.

Not the best dining experience. Children running through the restaurant. Waitress or host didn’t seem too interested in any customers just watched the children. Food comes out extremely slow and nothing really special in any way
