Men of there words got pull over wife went to jail for lieing don't know what women be thinking sometimes but the office told me to be claim let him take she be out soon she need to not lie,I agree now a hr went by on my way to pick my baby up the police personal called me to let me know come get her thank you guys my wife can come home and get help now thank you again

Though they have all been accidental, the police have that times been slow to arrive when night time alarms go off, which wouldn't help in a real emergency.

Also, last time I answered the door, the officer asked of I was the nanny, insinuating my family can't afford to live here. My family is black and has been living here for over 10 years, but we're afraid to have any of the men answer the door if the police come over for fear that their perception of us may cause then to think they're intruders. Years ago, my younger brother, when walking home from
friends' homes would get routinely stopped by police asking why he was out.

To add: We had our car stolen right out of our driveway some time ago, and when we reported it we were told it was probably "halfway to Mexico." In reality, a white American had stolen it. There's a problem woth these race-based assumptions.

I'm not sure how you behave in emergency situations, so I can't rate you on that, but I think the department needs sensitivity training.
