I have a complicated tax situation this year, so was seeking help and advice. It ended up just being advice because I can move forward on my own. I was charged $185 for 15 minutes! Needless to say, I was stunned. Buyer beware. Find out ahead of time what you will be charged. The small business owner ahead of me was charged $400 for the completion of their taxes--a much more reasonable deal.

Highly recommend Bellingham CPA! Dan is trustworthy, patient, knowledgeable, and dependable. To make a long story short, I used another account to take care of my business taxes and personal taxes for a couple of years, until one year that accountant really messed up both the business and personal returns. We had Dan come in and fix the problem. He patiently sat down with us and my business partner to review our books and business tax returns, and he explained all the actions needing to be completed in plain language. My husband and I then reviewed our personal return that was completely incorrect. They were able to quickly and most importantly correctly fix both our business and personal tax returns. He was able to directly handle a big paperwork problem that our previous accountant made with DC and ended up saving us lots of money.

Dan is great! He is very responsive over email and helped me a TON when it came to filing my first taxes as a new business owner for my event planning company. I had some startup expenses that I wasn't sure how to account for, and he was very helpful in suggesting how to expense these. He agreed to do phone calls with me to figure it out, and gave lots of helpful advice in our initial consultation. With Dan managing your books, you will feel confident and in control. I never hesitate to recommend Dan.
