Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! Beautiful estate and great wines. I loved their Rutherford estate Cabernet. Can't wait for my next trip to napa so I can enjoy Bello Family Vineyards again.

Very nice chill place with great wines. Try the rose, it's a cab rose and it's great! Also, good chance to run into some of the family who are very friendly and helpful.

Do you want to visit one of the most ballin' wineries in Napa? Bello is it. Despite the amazing wines, and glitzy tasting room, the Bello family is super down to earth and friendly. Chris Bello is as nice a guy as you'll ever meet, and unlike other tasting experiences, where you might feel a bit put off by the haughtiness and pretentiousness, they will make you feel like part of the family. The Marsanne is excellent, and so is the Megahertz Cab. I didn't get to try the Reserve Cab, but will certainly return with some friends sometime soon. If you're looking for a lesser-known winery, and a great overall experience, check them out next time you are cruising through St. Helena. They are on the left as you approach the town center, about half mile before you'd enter town. Sort of hard to spot, but they are right on rt. 29.

In 2000, Michael Bello purchased land in Rutherford and began construction on what would become Bello Family's vineyard estate. Bello employed renowned vineyard management veteran, David Abreu, and elite winemaker, Aaron Pott, to head up operations for Bello Family. The team decided to entirely replant the land's current grapes, and remove the chardonnay to make room for Bordeaux grapes as per Bello's personal preference of red varietals. The first Bello Family vintage is 2004. That same year Bello purchased a tasting room property at 929 Main St. in St. Helena, and his passion for winemaking manifested into a reality. Just five years later, Bello Family's 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon received a score of 94 points by Robert Parker, and won the 2013 Hilton Head Island Wine and Food Festival Best of Show Award. The 2009 Reserve Cab is not to be missed! The tasting room was designed by a Los Angeles native, Rey Viquez, and the designer's background shows through in the construction. The tasting room's unassuming exterior hides the high-concept contemporary décor of the building's interior. Nicknamed “Club Bello” for its vibrant lighting, sleek design, and modern attributes, the Bello Tasting Room resembles more of a James Bond style man-cave than a Napa Valley wine bar. The unique atmosphere separates itself from the common French, Italian, or Spanish styles to create a youthful spirit more in tune with the future of the California wine industry, rather than its brief history. Upon first walking into the Bello Tasting Room, the oversized chandelier of 200 red bottles hanging over the circular tasting bar immediately captures the eye. The bar is made of quartz and lights up from the inside, while silver tufted panels wrap around the base to complement the room's modern, almost futuristic aura. Aside the main tasting room is a private room dedicated to more intimate tasting sessions. This room has a large mirrored table, antique crystal chandelier, and oval fireplace. The building has another private room known as the Megahertz room, named after Michael Bello's champion racehorse. The room features all of Megahertz' accomplishments as well as a large flat screen TV that showcases horse racing for guests' entertainment.
